While a tree may not show any outward signs of decay or structural weakness, there are other tell-tale signs that a certified arborist can
be able to look for to indicate problems with your trees. This oak in a park had no real signs of problems except for some fungi growing
approximately 6-8 feet away from the base of the tree.
We later learned that the tree had significant structural failure in the trunk and at the root flare and stump.
